Bre’Nasia Bowles
Bre’Nasia Bowles, a senior at Prince Edward High School in Farmville, is a determined young woman with an unbeatable work ethic. While balancing her high school workload, Bre’Nasia earned a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate through the local community college, and she now works at a local nursing home to gain more experience. She also works at a movie theater to save money toward a college education in social work and strives toward a career in child protective services. Bre’Nasia said participating in SOAR Virginia means "everything, because our family struggled financially to make sure that my older sister could attend college, and every bit of money that I can get will help. I am most appreciative of the program."
